The National Laboratory of Metrology and Testing (LNE) is a public institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Finance which is responsible for Industry. LNE's mission is to manage French metrology and thereby create new regulations and standards at international, European and national level developing new test methods, calibration, testing, certification, and market surveillance.
The project :
In 2018, The “National Laboratory of Metrology and Testing” opted for GoFAST cross-functional DMS solution. Deployment is on a steady pace with 20 different projects. Among the issues which must be treated are:
- promotion of collaborative work,
- optimization of document edition and validation processes,
- unification of communication between remote sites.
Of course, the security is paramount and in this sense, GoFAST is hosted in the LNE’s datacenter .
Eventually, LNE plans to replace file servers with GoFAST, which represents a migration of several Teras of data.
